Ubuntu 20.04 WIFI and Bluetooth stop working when I close the lid of the laptop, even though an external monitor is turned on

I recently had to reinstall my Ubuntu 20.04 and after installation I found that when I close the laptop lid while using an external monitor, my Bluetooth keyboard and mouse start to react extremely slowly and the WIFI connection disappears.

I want to keep this when I close the lid, WIFI and Bluetooth turn off because it saves energy, but only when no external monitor is turned on. When the external monitor is turned on, I want them to work normally as it was in my previous installation on 20.04?
