Have had the ET-2800 for two days now, have spent 2 days trying to get a working printer driver or scanner driver, nothing will go.
I have about 6 .deb files, rpm files, specific Ubuntu drivers off the Epson site (which for some reason, can only be accessed by direct link). Have struggled with foomatic-gui, it recognizes the printer, but still won't load the PPD file. Has anyone gotten one of these Tanks to work with Ubuntu? I've never seen anything so difficult to set up. No instructions anywhere, as is usual with Linux they assume you everything they left out from the womb, apparently.
